Aromatherapy For The Mind, Body, And Spirit

Aromatherapy has become a very popular means of healing and relaxation, and is practiced all over the world today. The radiations from natural aromatic substances also nourish our natural energies and spirit. The term aromatherapy is a fairly recent phrase first thought to have been used in the 20th century but the practice of aromatherapy has been around for well over 1000 years.

There are several different ways to use aromatherapy for headache treatment, such as a few drops in a warm bath, in a diffuser, and the old fashioned way of a few drops rubbed into the temples. The effects of the oils can range from relieving anxiety and improving sleep, to increasing concentration and relieving depression.

The other method of using aromatherapy oils in is by application to the skin. Some of the oils that I have seen people respond well to include eucalyptus, frankincense, lemon, and lavender. Trying to figure out what aromatherapy is and how it can help your headaches can be quite confusing.

Use the proper aromatherapy oil to act your bug repellent instead of chemical coils or chemical repellents. It is a good idea to buy a variety set or small bottles of essential oils to test them out. When absorbed, the chemical constituents of the oils are carried in the bloodstream to all parts of the body where they react with body chemistry in a way similar to drugs.

Depending on the condition or specific reason for using Aromatherapy, a custom blend of essential oils can be mixed to help promote different things. When you smell the aroma the essential oils go through the impulses to the old factory membrane (actual brain cell) (Tutorial).
