Since the fall of 2005 aromatherapist Geraldine Zelinsky, the Assistant Director of United Aromatherapy Effort (UAE) and Manager of its Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, has been involved in ongoing medical research with a couple of pediatric physicians who work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Louisiana hospital. It is added in various skin care and cosmetic products which are used for oily skin or acne. Instead, relax in a warm lavender bath before bedtime. An aromatherapy course will provide an introduction to the use of essential oils, how they are used and basic recipes that can be used for different purpose.

During the fifteenth century people in Europe began using essential oils to disguise their body odours and to ward off sickness. The lack of treatment was so profound that stories in literature talk about people trying to sleep off a “sick headache” by putting a wet cloth on their heads that was scented with lavender.
