The days of endless charting and piled papers, is just around the corner for those in the healthcare field. If every time a new hospital, clinic, pharmacy, or government program was introduced a new point-to-point interface had to be introduced, it would not be feasible to build a HIN that has sustainable momentum. In conclusion, as one can see there are many different healthcare beliefs in different cultures.

Different levels of security and reporting are available to different levels of staff, so that the member of staff can only see the information they need to see.

Also, many hospitals provide incentives to recruit a physician or other health care professional to join the hospital’s medical staff and provide medical services to the surrounding community.

The reimbursement structure of our healthcare system provided incentives to do more. Services aligned in this manner enable true interoperability among the healthcare organization’s processes and people. The Anti-Kickback statute contains an exception for discounts offered to customers that submit claims to the Federal health care programs.
